The legend of 'King Arthur' has reached the big screen in a huge number of occasions. The first time he achieved a great recognition was in 1953, with 'The Knights of King Arthur', and the last one just a year ago, with 'The Legend of Excalibur'. Without a doubt, it is one of the most treated (and mistreated) subjects on the big screen, but never in the way that 'The Kid Who Would Be King' will do it.
As we can see in the trailer, this production of 20th Century Fox has nothing to do with the original story, but is about a group of kids who embark on a medieval adventure after running into a legendary sword. With Louis Serkis (son of Andy Serkis) as protagonist, and the incorporation of actors of the draft of Patrick Stewart, who plays the magician Merlin, the film promises to be a great blockbuster for children.
Scheduled for January 25, 2019 in the United States, the film predicts a new adventure for children but full of winks for all audiences. At the moment, the trailer could not look better, so we'll have to wait and see if expectations are met.
