Let's dust our talking crab, our insane gull, our little celestial fish and the pulpy witches of evil, and comb our hair with a fork (and not say what we could do with two snails). La Sirenita, the classic of children's video libraries, returns to us with a new and aquatic trailer that has us moving the tail of happiness.
Of course: those who expect a live-action style of Beauty and the Beast that mimics the classic drawing scene by scene, will be disappointed. It is that this delivery, of the AMC screen, is a little less Disney and a little more Hans Christian Andresen. The fairy tale of 1837 tells us a much more ... mysterious story.
And from there this very nice trailer in which a little girl discovers a beautiful and charming woman who is sure to hide a little mermaid in herself. And we are also feeling it when we see Poppy Dreyton in the starring role.
The plot is quite beautiful: Cam Harrison (William Moseley of The Royals) is a young reporter who follows the scoop of a little mermaid (the Drayton) and a magic water that says cure everything. That is why he will take his sick nephew to see if, indeed, the magic cure cures his ailment deep in the Mississippi ... Where they meet a legend as mysterious as the circus in which they find her.
We already immerse ourselves with this film that turns us white on black, invites us to believe in magic, and embarks on a beautiful adventure that takes us back to childhood.
